Not an original idea. Just a different handling (not an improvement in my opinion) of something a lot of magicians do. I saw David Acre and Richard Sanders doing something similar in a lecture they did in 2001.
And to be honest... stop handling the deck so much... Too many fans, too many card flicks, too many riffles, etc... Really really distracting and not needed. All it does is add suspicion to things that should seem normal to a layman.
