Hey everyone. I'm Jonathan Price. Both myself and Alex Pandrea are very proud to bring you a two-DVD set that has been in the making for a very long time. You may have heard rumors of this project circling the forums, but let Alex and I be the first to tell you; it's here, and it can't be stopped. Keep your eyes open for its official release date, but in the meantime, catch your first glimpse of the official preview...

This, is AM/PM.

Sweet! Finally the set will be released! Can't wait. The routine with the pen and cap looks absolutely amazing. Definetly looking into this.

Those look like videos and the tricks looked good also, although you couldn't see many of them.

Hi, thanks for the feedback....ya you will often run into that concern with trailers for DVDs which contain many effects...maybe this will help though

VOL 1:

Between the Backpalms - A spectator's selected card vanishes from the deck and instantly reappears sandwiched between the magician's and spectator's previously empty hands.

Unlabeled - An ultra-clean Any Card at Any Number routine that can be done with a borrowed, shuffled deck.

Help - One spectator reads another's mind to reveal a selected card.

The Domino Effect - A unique take on the Copper/Silver plot. A sugar packet and a Sweet N Low packet transpose between the magician's hand and a spectator's hand. Perfect for table hopping!

Trio - A surprising multi-phase 3 cards under box routine.

Morph - A selected card gradually changes color, followed by the whole deck.

El-Dib - A new look at a classic card effect, but with a killer new ending.

Papermate - A multi-phase pen routine with a kicker ending that they'll never see coming!

*Bonus - The Propeller Change - An ultra-visual face-up color change that occurs in mid-air.

VOL 2:

4OUR - A quick, visual, and surprising production of four cards.

AKT I - An instant transposition of two four-of-a-kinds.

Local - An empty matchbox becomes full in your spectator's hands. They can examine and keep the box and matches!

Cash Back - After the magician fails to find a selected card, he puts his money on the line in order to prevail.

Arson - A lighter vanishes into the deck to reveal a card, only to pop back out of the card again.

Coin Mint - A borrowed, signed quarter winds up in a minty fresh location.

Switch - The spectator's card and the magician's card visibly switch places in the deck several times in a row. Uses 2 new color changes!

Under and Out - A selected card vanishes from under the spectator's hand under truly impossible conditions.

*Bonus - The Kidnapped Control - Invisibly control your spectator's card to the top of the deck.

Hope you can get a better understanding of the effects from here!

5 of the effects from Volume 1 are completely impromptu, and 3 from Volume 2 are. Each of the bonus effects are also completely impromptu.

So, 8 of the 16 effects (50%) are 100% impromptu. If you count the Bonuses as tricks (which I do, because they're fantastic), then 10/18 effects (more than half) are impromptu.

The other effects that aren't impromptu don't need a heck of a lot of work as far as gimmicks and/or set up are concerned, and most have an impromptu feel.

In all cases, Alex and Jon take you step-by-step through each effect, making the learning process as easy as possible.

Remember though, impromptu doesn't always mean easy or self-working. This DVD is definitely intended for intermediate to advanced magicians. It's not super-difficult impossible material, but don't expect to master all of this stuff in a day either.

As for real-world... Absolutely. This is all material that Jon and Alex use in their paid gigs for real people all the time. They use it in bars, restaurants, parties, etc.

For any of the non-impromptu stuff, reset is always instant or very quick.

Hope that sheds a bit more light.

Not much longer now!

Kevin from NYMP asked me to pass this along:

Hi everyone. You might recall some postings in the past about AM/PM, a new release from Jonathan Price and Alex Pandrea.

Originally, AM/PM was going to be a 2-disc set with 16 tricks and some bonus sleights.

At the very end of production, we regrouped, and decided to take only the best of the best material from both discs, and combine it into a single-disc release. The result is 10 killer effects designed with real-world venues in mind, all packed onto one DVD.

The effects on AM/PM are as follows:

1. Local
An empty matchbox becomes full in your spectator's hands. They can examine and keep the box and matches!

2. Between the Backpalms
A spectator's selected card vanishes from the deck and instantly reappears sandwiched between the magician's and spectator's previously empty hands.

3. 4OUR
A quick, visual, and surprising production of four cards, using a new two-card flourish.

4. The Coin Mint
A borrowed, signed quarter is transformed into a Listerine strip. The quarter is then found inside the Listerine pack!

5. Papermate
A multi-phase pen routine with a kicker ending that they'll never see coming!

6. AKT I
An instant transposition of two four-of-a-kinds.

7. The Domino Effect
A unique take on the "Copper/Silver" plot. A pink sugar packet and a white sugar packet magically switch places between the magician's hand and a spectator's hand.

8. Cash Back
After the magician fails to find a selected card, he puts his money on the line in order to prevail.

9. Arson
A lighter vanishes into the deck to reveal a card, only to pop back out of the card again.

10. Under and Out
A selected card vanishes from under the spectator's hand under truly impossible conditions.
