Amazing tips for pros

Eh... nothing really amazing there. Just stuff that's been re-stated time and again in almost every restaurant magic dvd. The best advice I got regarding tips.. "Just do a damn good show, to the point they feel obligated to tip you."
Honestly, I never worry about tips. Ever. Why? Because I make sure I get paid enough by the house, host, whoever, that any money I make in tips is just extra. When I'm booking the gig, I'm getting enough money to make me happy, cover my expenses, etc. And on top of that, I'm getting paid enough to ensure the host that I'm not going to put their guests in a possibly awkward position when it comes to questions about tipping the magician.
Now if they ask me if I accept tips, I say yes and continue with what I was doing. I don't make an issue of it, or try to hint to anything during my show. Just not my style..
But to each their own..
