Sooo... This question is probably really stupid and newby... But instead of making tons of bad excuses why I don't know this... Lemme just give it to you...

Why is Coin One out of stock?

I'm making an asumption that it is never released again, because of how many people think it's amazing. (kinda stupid, and doesn't make any sense...)

So is Coin One just regularly out of stock? Or is it permanently out of stock?

So yeah... So if it is just regularly out of stock... I have a few questions about it...

I really don't do too much coin magic... So is it difficult to learn for a beginner in coins?

Is it worth the price? (for you guys who have it...)

So yeah
Please reply...

Thanks

Coinone sold out, I believe. As far as I know, it's a coin routine which teaches a few vanishes along the way, and can be done with gimmicks or pure sleight of hand (although the gimmicks are apparently more visual, and available at most magic stores). And some people think that either coinone/cointwo will be re-released, due to a picture in the Cerca Trova hunt showing a menu with coins and mentioning the "Melt Vanish", which is taught by Homer Liwag.

So basically, it's a routine which teaches you several things along the way. Two methods: gimmicks or pure sleight of hand, gimmicked version being more visual. Sold out due to popularity/low stock, possible re-release.

CoinOne was not originally sold anywhere but from Homer directly. From the beginning for both CoinOne and CoinTwo, homer has said he would only produce a set number of both dvd's. He kept a running count of both. Earlier this year T11 acquired the last of the CoinOne dvd's and i assume they have finally run out. Homer has said he has no plans to re-release the dvd's and if he does someday it will be a long ways down the line. My guess is if T11 does anything they may do something similar and pick up the last of the stock of CoinTwo. As for the CoinOne dvd itself. It is a highly visual, open handed coins across routine where you palms are face up and visible at almost all times. It utilizes a gimmick, a common coin gimmick, and it is absolutely stunning. Homer teaches all the sleights neccessary ranging from utility moves to a few vanishes. Also taught on the dvd is Chris Kenner's take on the same plot which is known as "The Deep". This routine does not use a gimmick and while accomplishing the same effect as CoinOne it is not quite as visual and open, although still awesome and i use it often.

What saborfang is thinking of is CoinTwo, CoinTwo teaches the melt vanish as well as several other vanishes, and reappearances in a Coin Flurry type effect. Flurry meaning the coins disappear, reappear and change places in a quick "flurry" type manner. Both CoinOne and CoinTwo use the same gimmick, however Homer does teach a gimmick free version of CoinTwo on the dvd that only has a few wardrobe constraints and looks almost identical.

Both Dvd's are amazing effects and Produced with the highest quality imaginable. They are works of art in themselves from the packaging, the filming and the overall design and layout. Homer doesn't put stuff out often but when he does, ITS A GEM!!! BUY IT.

with that said, if you dont do too much coin work then you should give thought to starting simpler possibly. Neither routine is at what i would call a beginner level, however both are attainable and excellent. If your willing to practice go for it. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for some great coin work if they are willing to put in the work. Look up performance videos online for CoinTwo, i think we have a preview of CoinOne in the product section.

The actual CoinTwo package is completely sold out, however Homer is selling the extra stock of CoinTwo discs on his site.

And also, CoinOne does teach the Melt Vanish. CoinTwo teaches the Himber Melt Vanish, though you can learn both from his Trifecta 1on1.

Trifecta = beast.

Jrobarts05, I've never had trouble going to his site, yet I've visited HL's site probably 6-7 times since I first heard of it. Maybe something's wrong on your end?
