CUBE 3 by Steven Brundage: Review Needed!

Hi Sam. Just a note around this DVD and cube magic in general. It does take a lot of practice to get the moves down, but it is well worth it. It may take a month of solid practice to get solving down and the moves for the magic tricks down.

I'd start out with Cube 3, and also get Cube FX by Karl Hein. It's also very good. Cube FX has nice routines that you can perform much better using some of the moves from Cube 3.

As an example, on Cube 3 you learn a bunch of 'instant solves'. You have to mix up the cube yourself, the spectator can't mix the cube. You can however learn how to solve a cube quickly and use that as part of your presentation. Currently I can solve it at around 45 - 55 seconds, but it would be great to clock in under 30 seconds.

On Cube FX the 'instant solves' are not as flashy, but you learn a solid 2 cube matching routine that doesn't use any gimmicks.
