Fingers are Too Smooth to do some effects

I've run into the same issues—fingers being too smooth and also having trouble with nails getting in the way during certain moves. For the smooth fingers, I've found that lightly rubbing your fingertips on a microfiber towel or even handling a rubber balloon for a few seconds can add just enough texture to get grip without making things sticky like Octopalm. It’s subtle but effective, especially for moves like the Top Shot or pressure fans.

As for the nails, keeping them trimmed just below the fingertip helps a lot. Even a little overgrowth can mess with packet control or create unwanted friction during sleights. I’ve also noticed that filing the edges smooth (rather than just clipping) makes handling much more consistent. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference during performance.

Hope that helps :) —curious to hear what’s worked for others too.
