Fire in the Hole?

Hello everyone

I got hurons Four dvd and i was very impressed by his thinking and i saw the fire in the hole effect and it looked amazing. But i have one question, do you need to cut it out with a knife perfecly with the knife he uses? Its illegal to carry knifes where i live so it would be inpractical for me. any other ways?

Well, to try and answer your question without giving too much away, the way that he teaches the effect requires the pen knife. I'm not saying that you couldn't possibly alter the effect to work without a knife, but if you want to perform the effect as he does, you'd need to use the knife.

Well unless you can think of another way to cut a square in the card. Then no, it cant be done. I just use a small craft knife.
