@ BillyHelms: I merely had a case of magician's guilt, or the sense running while not being chased. My pass was good enough (even better now) that it made spec's jaws drop. It's everybody's favorite phase of the routine for some (while others prefer the visual rising card better). Also, doing a face up pass destroys any suspicion from the spectator that you may not be putting the same card that you showed in the middle (although only the shrewdest of spectators may think this). The pass just has such a magical quality, because it seems that your hands don't do anything at all, but I won't resort to it if the angles are even somewhat iffy.
