personally, I'm a lefty and i have absoloutley no problem doing this vanish... maybe i just practuced it so much?

I think the problem is what is done with the coin, after the vanish. I will edit if this is exposure.
Again, this is in no way affected by your dominant hand. You simply learn the move with the hand used in the teaching. Even if you do the rest of the routine mirrored, it still will not affect this last move if done as taught.
I think he means that the ditch spot won't be there for you.
I'm left handed and have Silver Dream. You can just palm the last coin and get rid of the "breaking it in half and vanishing each half" thing.
