Paker Nolan - I sorta have invented a new game with these cards. What is the most popular games in casinos? Slots and BlackJack? What If I told you I have invented a game better than BlackJack. That is a bold statement. It's call "GoldKing". What better name for a game with the highest card value in the deck. I didn't get a lot of good feedback; I'm still working on the game. It's basically BlackJack and Spanish 21 and the old game of "twenty-one" I do know if I get serious with this game I need at least $3000 - $5000 to get the house odds and at least $50,000 to promote the game. http://wizardofvegas.com/forum/questions-and-answers/math/12435-would-you-stand-at-24/ It's a pipe dream

It's a pipe dream

The lack of a marketing plan isn't helping. Finish the games, develop your marketing strategy. There are only so many times I can repeat this. The philosophy of, "If you build it, they will come," made for a nice movie, but it doesn't actually help you sell anything.

Dude... I don't see how you're not getting this. There is no reason to add more cards to the deck, no benefit of any kind, no problem to solve. As has all been said. If you have to create a problem so that you can sell your solution, that is a pretty bad marketing/moral plan. This would be like if I started selling Frisbees with coat hooks on the side. Not only does it not solve a problem, it creates problems. Problems for both gambler's and magicians. So now, we are talking about trying to sell frisbees with fish hooks on the side. Now we are past being a useless feature, and are in fact at a detrimental feature. All of this paragraph is the impersonal side of it.

Personally, I don't like the idea because a 52 card deck is already unnaturally thick for my hand. I in fact remove the 2,9,8 of diamonds, 3,4,6 spades, 2,4,6 clubs, and 9,3,2 hearts from many of my decks, because I prefer a thinner, 42 (jokers) card deck. It feels better, allows for better manipulation, and has proven useful during many performances. Very interesting outs. I don't think that our collective opinion, nor your poll, could make the truth any more apparnt. Which is that there is simply no demand for a 64 card deck.

So ... you took an overwhelming majority opinion and tossed it out the window.

Ok. Well, good luck none the less! Hope it works out for you. I know that sounds really sarcastic, but I'm actually being serious.
