I believe there is a special balance between fun and serious when performing. I prefer this style because, it allows the spectator to feel as though you are their friend for that moment and are approachable, but also to show them that you have a skill that is unlike anything they will ever see again. I find that the spectator often wants to be performed for rather than performed at.
