Questions about sanada gimmick

so i just purchased the gimmick just by its self and i have been seeing all these things about magnets with it. can someone explain if you need these magnets and also what DVD should i purchase to learn how to use it ?

You can use a magnetic Sanada gimmick for much of the stuff you would use a PK ring for but it looks like you are performing bare handed.

Look into cap in bottle, ring on wand, and some versions of Max Maven's Kurotsuke. If you look into PK effects like "the Bat" you could adapt the handling to work for the Sanada.
