The original "yearlong magic video project" has now been running for over 30 weeks! Starting at August 10th of 2010, the project was first of its kind and still remains unique. The idea was to create one complete routine every week, and it had to be something that the magic world hadn't seen before.

You can find all the videos (with commentary!) at the 52 Times A Week blog at http://52timesaweek.blogspot.com/ or from my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/Ineski (the videos have the tag 52/)

Comments, thoughts, or anything else? Is there some specific kinds of effects you would like to see in the coming weeks?

The fact that this hasn't gotten a comment yet boggles my mind. You, sir, are an incredible magician/performer. I've been following your work for the past 4 or 5 years now and you never cease to amaze. Can't wait to see more from you!

Miika I love your work.

The thing that I appreciate about your project is that they are developed routines, rather than a colour change or simple idea. Not to take anything away from Calen as I have the upmost respect for him.

Thanks for the support guys!

New video is up again. We're at number 32 now!

This one is a transposition effect using ONLY two cards. No duplicates, no extras, any two cards will do. They don't even have to be playing cards. And it's visual. Check out "Conversion" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D81e5Yde_4I

You, sir, are an amazing performer. I love your effects and it brings me joy to watch your videos! Knowing most tricks out there, it is hard for me to get excited in seeing a new trick, yet I do when I see yours!

Thanks!

Many people seem to rush into releasing material without perfecting it and without actually doing it in the real world. I don't want to be one of those people. If the trick is not really good, then it's not worth releasing.

I might release something in the near future, but at the moment it's not my main focus (and I feel it shouldn't be anyone's focus).

I just try to do the best magic possible and have the best show there is!

PS. Check the new video featuring Daniel Garcia! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLdaf_9xuuU

Wow, you amaze me man! Like one of the above posters said, it's hard for me to get exited about new effects, but seriously, when I watch some of your vids, I do. Everytime I watch your ACAAN (or any of your "thought of card" effects) that you did, it blows my puny mind. I can't even begin to imagine stretching my mind far enough to even grasp the method, and yet it appears so simple (and in your blog you said it was painfully obvious!). I love watching your videos man, it's fun to watch good magic :)

Cheers,
Ryan

Thanks! We're currently at number 50. Only two more videos and this project will be complete! Party at my place then. Everybody's invited.

I LOVE the part in the OOTW where you have a hand in switching some cards around. Although I've always performed mine, in its several incarnations, as completely hands off, certain presentations could definitely incorporate that very well...

Congratulations on finishing! I hope your project has been truly worthwhile to you, it's been great for me :D #52 is awesome
