    Rehab-Cameron Franics :: Review

Well, it's not impromptu. :) I don't own Impromptorn so I cannot say what the differences are. Anyone else have both and can compare them?

How often do you get nervous?

I always get nervous before a set. And when it's done, I feel higher than a kite. Part of the fun of being a performer. :) It's natural to be nervous before a performance. In fact, if your not nervous, then you probably shouldn't be performing. Nerves mean you care. You want to do a great job.

Out of Order - Cameron Francis :: Review

Refills are not needed as you don't give the cards away at the end of the effect. And, if you ever did accidentally destroy a card, you could easily replace it as the gaffs are common and easy to find.

Out of Order - Cameron Francis :: Review

Forgot to provide a link to the Demo. Dave Forrest is performing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbWTLoXM_Ho

Out of Order - Cameron Francis :: Review

Thanks for the comments, guys. On the flip side of the review coin: http://www.mylovelyassistant.com/index.php?module=MlaReviews&func=display&rid=1776&iid=10752&cid=0 No disrespect meant, Dillusion, but if you don't own the effect, you can't really comment on it. Especially No Biddle...

New Pen Thru Bill by Cameron Francis

OneCardWonder, I pmed you. Twice, actually, by accident because I didn't think the first one went through. Don't worry. It's a nice pm. :)

New Pen Thru Bill by Cameron Francis

Sorry, but there are too many magicians -- and I'm not accusing anyone here of doing this -- who simply watch demos over and over to figure stuff out and perform it without paying for it. I didn't want that to happen. Hence, an edited demo. I really debated even having any sort of trailer but...

New Pen Thru Bill by Cameron Francis

I'm sorry but... what? It's an edited demo. I give nothing away in it. It only exists to give you a general idea of the effect, namely that it is an impromptu variation of Misled. I guarantee you that the second phase is not what you think it is. To say that the effect is terrible based on the...

Election - Eric Ross :: Review

    This looks very good.

    Nothing in Transit!

It's no longer on there as it's sold out. I can tell you that it looks even better in person than it does on video! A truly awesome effect. I'm sure Dave will re-release it at some point but that will probably be a long while off as the gimmicks are tedious to construct.

    The best TnR?

I designed Rehab to be performed in the real world. I LOVE Daniel Garcia's Torn. It's a beautiful effect. Unfortunately, it looks like crud in my hands and I had trouble with the angles. So, after A LOT of thought, I came up with Rehab. The angles are extremely good (if you perform it at chest...

New Pen Thru Bill by Cameron Francis

Hey, guys! Thanks so much for the interest! A couple of points: My pen through bill is different than Daniel's or Alan's. In fact, a couple of months ago at the Blackpool convention, all three of us shared our versions with each other. They are all different but terrific in their own...

    Karnival: Released

The faces of the cards are standard except for the Jokers and the ace of spades. So they are not like Black Tigers and Ghosts. Hope that helps some of you. The pack also comes with a D/B.

    Anybody else dislike gimmicks?

This is very true. However, I think we must realize that there are many people posting here who don't actually perform for people. It's actually pretty obvious if you read between the lines. A lot of guys just do card tricks simply to entertain themselves. They just like practicing moves...

    Anybody else dislike gimmicks?

There are things you can do with gimmicks that simply cannot be accomplished with sleight of hand. I noticed a lot of you guys are referring to ID and Svengali decks. Those are extreme examples. There is a huge "in between" area there. There are plenty of tricks which use normal cards and one or...

Trick names getting out of hand?

Digital Dissolve: Fingers are digits. This tricks happens at the finger tips, hence digital. Dissolve could refer to one coin dissolving into another. This is just speculation but it makes sense. You guys crack me up. Especially since most of you wouldn't buy a trick unless it has a...

Visual Aspect // Prophet and Extreme Burn

Mesmer, I don't have a gimmick made up at the moment. Plus, I don't like to post videos of other people's effects. I will say this, though, look at the EB demo. There are a lot of variations. Check out the one at the 1:10 mark. While it's not exactly the same as Prophet, it's darn close. The...

Visual Aspect // Prophet and Extreme Burn

Kevin, if you own Extreme Burnn, how can you say they are not the same?!? Did you watch The Underground handling? It's EXACTLY the same visually. Counts and all. Look, I don't know Tom's handling, but I think there are only so many ways to accomplish this effect...

Visual Aspect // Prophet and Extreme Burn

Hey, guys. I own Extreme Burn. There is a handling on the dvd that is not on the demo that is almost identical to Prophet. It called the Underground Handling. I think Tom independetly created the same thing. Extreme Burn is an excellent dvd which covers many different handlings for the same...
