They're not misleading, simply taking a photo of what the spectator sees. Panic is GREAT. Just work it in the real world for a while and you'll start to change your mind! D.

I do the spike from work magic shop, you can get it most places. It's really easy, as long as you have cups to use you can do it right outta the box! For a safe alt. try Titanas' russian roulette with cans, it's cool - I didn't have a clue the first time he did it! www.titanasmagic.com D.

Testify! Yeah, UI is GREAT. I've used it in every one of the 20 gigs I did last month and even in low lit atmospheres the impression is very effective. I've installed it in a notepad and it works great. $50 is nothing for an impression device this good. D.

I don't know who said it wasn't very good, but I think the book has a phenomenal amount of info that's very useful to anyone who actually performs. There's a fair few effects in there, but read through the full content of the book as it WILL help you. I do agree with Karlo though, Luke's...

Some sort of reel would work fine. I'd be happy with a Tenkai throw vanish though :) You could always vanish it from somewhere though, from a wallet, a card case, any number of gimmicked things! D.

As Draven said above, I don't know any needle or razorblade swallows where the blades don't really go in your mouth. However, a lot of the sources you could learn from (Tomas Medina's Geek Magic is a cool DVD, though Micheal Paul's Urban Legend is great - I think that's the DVD Brian mentioned...

I use panic to open all of my tables, it's the best vanishing deck out there in my opinion. Alot of the time when angles are tight, I'll display all the cards, then slide them all together and hold my hands cupped around the deck. I then squeeze it down to nothing. So you don't see the cards...

It was called Wrath, where you use TK to burn thru the deck to their selection. D.
