    Rings a problem?

The worst thing I've ever done is kept a wizard ring on while bending spoons... *Klink* I thought it'd look a bit suspicious to thumb off my ring mid routine, it was a little more suspicious when a spoon stuck to it! I don't usually wear rings while I'm performing nowadays, though you can get a...

    Who are you?!

Hello. My name is Dee. I'm been into magic for about 16 years, got into it when I was a little child! I started performing a bit more seriously though though when I was about 10, first proper gig was in primary school when me and another magic friend wrote and choreographed and awesome 10...

    Dan Sperry - Card Manipulation 101 v1

Looks cool :) As far as the 1on1's in comparison to the OnDemands - I much, much prefer to feel like I actually own what I paid for rather than pay for access to a streaming video. Then again, you can understand why they did it that way to prevent sharing and whatnot... D.

    Unnaturalness vs. Naturalness

I think a lot of great points have been brought up here, The Vernon quote above says it all really. In my magic and mentalism, I do my best to look like I've done nothing - I remain casual and relaxed and I make a note not to do any fancy shuffles or flourishes. I don't look like a klutz with...

They're only cafepress shirts, so the print quality isn't very good. And LOL to Brad's comment. If you're looking for magic attire, check out these: http://www.magicshop.co.uk/CLOTHING/c71/index.html I know, I know, the mindlapse shirts are out of stock... Some new one's are to be...

    Apperance

It really depends what market you are targeting - A lot of pro's over here that do the big gigs always don a tux. A lot of people WILL NOT book unless you wear a tux, but I've done lots of gigs that are just smart-casual, so it really varies. There's nothing wrong with being a little different...

Mage Touch - I am here to answer your questions

I think the effect looks cool, the price tag isn't THAT high really, I've spent £150 on much worse things than I imagine this to be :P It really depends on your audience control and the relationship you build with your spectator's - I don't think I'd have a problem performing this at all...

My Name is Dee Christopher and I'm an "Eat-Out-a-Holic" We eat out quite a bit, we live right in the city centre though, so that's the (poor...but close to valid) excuse :P Lola does make the best lasagne in the world though, she puts bacon into the mince and it makes it AMAZING. I do minimal...

    LIT: Thoughts and ideas

I've been performing this alot recently, I've been opening my walkaround sets for the last 4 gigs last week and It's such a nice way to open, just to have a matchbook in your hands, it's a little different :) I've found it to be great, I really take my time with the routine and it really pays...
