From the trailer it seems less like learning a new effect and more like teaching one of his old counts. Nothing amazing, more like a piece of amusement for 5 minutes. I don't like it personally.

Derren Brown teacher a far superior method on The Devils Picturebook. With his method they think of a card from a ribbon spread so they actually see it then with literally no moves the deck is respread and it's missing.

I think most of the DGP material is quite weak and boardering "rubbish" versions of better tricks. There are a handful of gems but you'd be much better off getting Tarbell or Card College.

That's the beauty of youtube/vimeo.....you can password protect videos and delete them whenever you want. Set a password, send some PM's to people you trust and ask if they think it's a good idea making it public, if not then just delete it.

I've come to love Sentinels for flourishing. Once worn in they feel quite sticky which I like a lot, it gives more control for flourishes. Standard bikes will never be replaced for working though.

Though DnD haven't commented on their forums (not in my time on there) I'm pretty sure they use apple loops. Apple loops are royalte free pre-recorded loops of all kinds of music (they come in "jam packs" such as "world instruments") and they're made for software like Apples Garageband.

A shuffle will always be more convincing that it is "lost". Without a shuffle, anyone can see and guess where it was inserted and that makes it less convincing that it's "lost".

What are you guys doing with it? I don't get why people want them, other than framing and putting on a wall but there is much nicer things to hang on walls in my opinion.

I back the Mac King Show and Blue Man Group, both quality shows that all four of you should enjoy. I enjoyed the show at Ceasars Palace when I went but that might be a bit too much "hardcore" magic for your wife and the other couple, I'm not even sure if it's still going, it was 2001 when I went.

Extreme Burn 2.0 is my favorite, I always keep it in my wallet.
