    Bill Malone

The Classic Bill Malone and the one who performs for professional gigs are two different people. Obviously he doesn't do all the jokes on the L&L videos.. He may do the same effects, but the jokes only work in the video's because well. You can get away with murder in those L&L videos. Like I...

    Superfly by Chris Kenner

I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant for the kiddies on this board to afford. Otherwise it would have been cheaply made and cost around 50 bucks tops. It's meant for working pro's who can afford the 600-800 bucks easily.

    Superfly by Chris Kenner

It seems to me like a superior gaffed version of Bob Kolhers effect which you can also hand out the coins. Also I've read that the same type of effect can be done with Lassens Gaffed version as well. Also sort of like Come Fly With Me. It's a neat thing and possibly a "cleaner" version (IE...

    Bill Malone

I am of the mind that he ONLY does those jokes for the L&L crowd. Because I doubt he could do the chants and everything else when he is actually working a gig (in fact I saw a video performance of him working a gig for a Ford party and he didn't have any of the jokes besides maybe one. The crowd...

    Best tricks in TA?

I don't really have too many favorite things on DVD. I like The Invisible Palm due to not having to use the aces. Reswindled is kind of niffty. and a few of the other effects are pretty good too.

Any book/pdf/dvd similar to "pure effects"

The only two Memorized Decks I recommend are the Aronson Stack and Mnemonica one. Both should take around 2-3 hours and have a ton of effects for them.

    Paul Harris Little Man

Well the idea for the effect sounds good but lacks practicality. I mean who carries around play dough? "Hey want to see do something with this stuff?" "Yeah... no thanks." It just looks silly. Paul Harris is generally a good guy and often has good effects that he "presents". But I don't see the...

    Paul Harris Little Man

Sounds good except most people already gave Paul Harris 300 bucks when he did the True Astonishments set. Now you're paying 300 bucks for one effect?

Paperclipped is a good prediction effect.

Paul Harris Presents: Hand Out 500

You do realize that you don't HAVE to use 100's right? I've used 5's for Extreme Burn so I'm sure you can use whatever you want for this as well. It would be down right silly for them to say you HAVE to use these or the trick won't work. Also people generally won't steal your money.. But...

    Blaine VS. Angel

Who's better? Paul Gertner or Paul Green? Daryl or Bill Malone. Rick Maue or Docc Hilford? William Draven or Mr. Zombie (yes there is an actual Stage magician who goes by that name and looks like an actual zombie.)

    Sitting down next to someone...

Invisible Deal force does that and I think a few other effects as well. You probably already know of Docc Hilfords Invisible Dice routine (uses a mini deck). If I had a pad and Pencil/pen I'd probably do Acidus Novus on them. Have them write down a card they are thinking of and then simply...

Paul Harris Presents: Hand Out 500

Yeah it looks neat, but why would you want to hand out the bills? The cool thing about Extreme Burn is that you can change the bills back and the folding of the bills looks pretty normal and casual (because that is how most people fold bills up.). As well as the extra thickness, which is pretty...

    Touching / Grabbing During Effect

Darwin ortiz mentioned that you should stop them from touching ANYTHING before you perform. Even if it's something like the card case. If they try to grab, just nicely remind them not to and put the card case away. If that doesn't work, then you aren't doing your job correctly and they don't...

Do you label yourself a magician?

Yeah not many lay people know what a Mentalist is. Which is why a lot of Mentalist simply use terms like "Mind Reader." or "Body language expert" or etc. Because those terms that everybody understands and has heard.

    Impromptu Sit Down Magic?

It's not about you. It's about them, THAT'S what makes Palm Reading magical. You are not being mysterious or performing. You are telling them about their past. The other person is the in the spot light. Also.. Palm reading isn't magic, it's magical in itself. I've already acknowledged...
