Favorite Deck Quality + looks + handling

I am actually a big fan of the Ghost Deck. In my opinion, it looks nearly perfect and handles nicely. The only thing I wish I could pick would be red pips on the hearts/diamonds just so it's a better visual for OOTW. These would be perfect to me.

Youtube: Saying where you bought it

Make up your mind on where you stand on ETHICS. Exposure is exposure and it all hurts magic negatively for the most part. There are plenty of ways to learn magic without having to steal secrets and income from other magicians. I know killing someone is wrong, but shooting someone is not...

Youtube: Saying where you bought it

Perhaps you break the mold. Perhaps you might think it's a stereotype, but that doesn't make it any less true. MOST of the people that put performances on youtube do it for attention. You just do it to a lesser extent for attention from a smaller crowd (your friends). Then, there are...

Youtube: Saying where you bought it

Do you really believe that some complete newbie to the world of magic, who happens to stumble upon secrets, will actually contribute something useful? The odds of that happening are astronomically low. People do buy stuff just to reveal it. I believe if you're posting a video of magic on...

The Guardians have a dirty little secret

Perhaps you should read his others posts and rants (and not just on this board). "E was founded with one person and a goal who found others that had that same vision and went from there. T11 is starting with a big group of already ego driven performers, can anyone say "uh oh"? All of these guys...

The Guardians have a dirty little secret

I don't call making an assumption based upon reasonable evidence stereotyping.

The Guardians have a dirty little secret

Ahhh, like other forums that tell you you're a bad performer because you think King Rising is impractical? Or when you say that the Axis change is angly as hell, it's because you suck? Or when you say Infusion is a famous sleight by David Williamson, they say nope? Or when they nazi-edit your...

    1 on 1?

Well if you want to use pure math, the explanations/videos average around 10 minutes each. If that was multiplied by 37 sleights, that would be 370 minutes worth of tutorials, which is 6 hours of teaching. That becomes either 3-6 dvds worth of material. Anyways, you're comparing apples to...

How do you introduce your interest in magic in school?

I got this tip from a David Stone video. As you're walking by someone, drop a coin and ask "Did you drop this?" Usually they stop and reply no. Obviously this is a very nice in since it introduces something you can do magic with in a nonchalant way.

    Life. Do you have one?

I live a very fulfilling (and time consuming) life. I am a full time student at the University of Florida and when I'm not working hard to maintain a perfect gpa, I keep in shape at the gym or hang out with friends. Yes, people may consider this a normal life (I'm sure many people have to do...

    best trick sold here?

I picked up all three and I am very satisfied with all of them. But, I truly believe that Panic stands above the rest. The effect, is killer. The gimmicks will last for a while. And Aaron literally goes over everything you need to know. Everything. Whether you're doing it for a stage...

    Underground Magic

You really have a twisted sense of what is defined as "underground" and what is not and trying to classify effects and sleights as "underground". You consider a sleight like 4For4 nothing new because it has been published before. Yet, you consider the Asher Twist something new and underground...

    Shadow Coins routines.

Hey Joshua, I know you're a big coin magic fan. Which routines do you think are good? I do have a e[ set so I don't mind using that.

    Shadow Coins routines.

I am familiar with Garcia's Only 4. Personally I don't like the limitations imposed by using only 4 coins (in my opinion, not as clean of a display). I rather make a sacrifice to use something extra and ditch if it means the routine looks cleaner.

    Shadow Coins routines.

What are your opinions on the shadow coins / chink-a-chink routines? Personally, I think it is one of the most magical looking effects you can do with coins. Fast paced and insanely visual. I'm looking for a good source to learn shadow coins (or a chink-a-chink) routine. I don't really...

    How much longer?

I bet Canadian beaver riding, hockey stick wielding bandits stole your package. Either that or it's stuck in customs or something.

    Underground Magic

Anyone that looks down upon gimmicks like your attitude will severely limit their growth in magic. Just because an effect like Panic requires a gimmick doesn't mean that it isn't strong as hell.

    Panic Gimmick

Damn, I stand corrected. This is awesome.

Aaron and Wayne Shooting in Chico!

Obviously I feel that every cardman should have a few variations of double lifts that he can use. Perhaps a video of the doubles that you use the most on a daily basis and those that seem the most natural. Personally, I would like to see a video on the Strike double which is a move I have...

    Panic Gimmick

Probably there won't be refills of Panic. Just because it is MUCH more durable than the Distortion gimmick. I foresee my set lasting a good amount of time. And when the time comes around, I will definitely purchase another set.
