    Muscle Pass Question

Why develop a bad habit when you don't have to? And if Jay means to only do that temporarily, why does he still obviously do it in performance? I have David Kong's Complete Muscle Pass. Much better DVD.

Robert Greene and Magic - Vol 1

Of course, the clever among us can delay that as long as need be through some deft maneuvering. My belief is that people are fundamentally good, but some of the techniques he describes in his books are the work of the aberrations. And if you don't have the heart to use them, you must...

    H.P. Lovecraft: Complete and Unabridged

It's just as well. The League of True Metal Warriors are very selective. Which worked for and against the movie. Overall, I liked No Country..., but a book is a book and a movie is a movie, and some things just don't translate very well between the two.

    Buzz Marketing by Mark Hughes

In 2000, a small rural town called Halfway in Oregon did something the country by surprise. They changed their name to Half.com in conjunction to the launch of a website of the same name. The mastermind behind this PR revolution was Mark Hughes. Fast forward 5 years, and Half.com has been...

    The Too Perfect Theory: Wrong?

I find myself leaning ever so slightly toward Lee Strasburg, personally. I think this is indicative of my slowly decaying sanity. Nevertheless, I recommend Stanislovski to magicians because it's the first modern book on acting as a craft and remains an integral text on performance theory...

    The Too Perfect Theory: Wrong?

Can't say as I have, though I also have to admit that I base most of my style on literature and film instead of other magicians and mentalists.

    The Too Perfect Theory: Wrong?

Actually, I have not read the book, but I'm no stranger to performance theory. I've diligently studied the works of Eugene Burger, had extensive conversations with Rick Maue and other working pros, and also spent time as an actor. A find myself recommending Stanislovski's "An Actor Prepares"...

    MySpace For Magicians / Flourishers

In the beginning, there were forums. And then Tom created MySpace. And he saw that it was good enough. But MySpace was lonely, even with all the skeezy photos of drunk people and emo kids standing in their bathrooms. And so applications and other custom tools were created. And MySpace...

    BULLETIN : andthensome +YOURSTUFF Contest

Well, from Theory 11's customer base, anyway. Still doesn't strike me as an even trade. But I'm just a gnat buzzing in the face of commerce.

    The Too Perfect Theory: Wrong?

http://www.online-visions.com/stagestuff/0805trick.html I stumbled upon this earlier this morning. It was too good to pass up. Amidst all the links to generic YouTube videos that seem engineered to depress me, this is a link that should liven things up.

    H.P. Lovecraft: Complete and Unabridged

Lovecraft's imitators and the witless fans have made it a cliche. But the Golden Age of the pulps is an important period in American literature. Sometimes things are popular for a reason other than having Jessica Alba in the credits. We must look to the source before the concept became a...

    Cerca Trova Ideas

Here's a few topics to shake things up a little bit. -Religion and magic. Is there any time when it's appropriate? -Politics and magic. See above. -Is there anything for magicians to learn from history's great charlatans, hoaxers, and con men?
