    What About Big Stage?

I tend to stay away from the green monster. There are other places that are layed out much better like Magic bunny or IBM Ring 2100. With Ring 2100 you have to be a member of the IBM, but that is a good move anyways.

    Where can I learn this?

I'm not with them. I'm just trying to get more people into books and the classic books. The Tarbell books, either the eight volume set or the reprint of the original, is something all magicians should have. As for Lesson it is Lesson 27 The Famous Needle Trick or the Famous Houdini Needle...

In the last hard back edition of the amateurs magician's hand book, there was a section about how to film your practice sessions. How to place to mirrors at an angle to your left and right side while filming head on to get the best coverage when played back.

Hey there was an "and small stage" between the parlor and 1000 people. My stage show is not big box illusions but parlor effects that play large and can be seen from a distance.

    The Original Tarbell course.

It is very cool I have a hard copy not of the book but of the original mail order set given to me by my mentor from when he was a child. I paid $30 for PDF when Lybrary first offered it just to have a searchable version. Really this is one of those MUST HAVE books.

What do we do with the jerks

This. If you do something for just a couple of people and no one else it makes them and the moment feel special. When asked to do anything more politely decline. Then keep declining for a week. It will make the next time you do something more of an event and less like you are looking for attention.

What are a few basic principles in mentalism?

It's story time. I worked on learning slights and effects for years before I did anything outside of a Ring meeting. The summer I turned 18, 1997, my mentor would book us as a pair for street fairs walk around. Eight to ten hours a six to seven days a week for three month. Not solo though. I...

Book on Packet Tricks/ Gambling STYLE Routines

Go and find a mentor. Go to the IBM and SAM website to find the local meetings. Talk to the men and women at the meetings. Show a willingness to really slow down and learn and you will be shocked at the advice the older performers will give you.

What do we do with the jerks

It is reasons like these that I am selective about when and where I will do an effect outside of a gig. If you are always doing magic than it's not very magical. So you know one guy is gonna heckle you, then pick out one or two people to perform for. Frame it in a way that makes it more magical...
