Then why didn't he say that?

Which mean it's up to the individual to create value in what he does and that he must consider his target audience. I made that mistake earlier this year and lost a school show because the schoolboard turned out to be extremely religious and when they saw my logo, they were terrified that I...

    Diary of a Nitwit Magician

That just raises the question of why I would want to. More important to me is my goal to come up with 20 new thumb tip tricks.

    Comedy in Magic

You wouldn't know what pure magic was if it kicked you in the teeth and laughed at your pain. And that statement has nothing to do with anything they were saying. Either you're an actor putting on a vrey good act, or you're a clueless fanboy. Which is it? If this is satire, it's getting...

    Cool Off Tudor

Here's a question for Brian Tudor: What the hell are you smoking? The ability to create has little to do with the ability to teach, if anything at all.

    Diary of a Nitwit Magician

I was wondering how long it would take for that strawman to come up. Really, it doesn't matter to me how hard it is to do a one-handed cut. If you can't make it in the least bit entertaining to the laity, it means bugger all to me. Still, none of this has anything to do with my point. How...

    Help - I can't fan cards... :(

To help get a better spread, I use my wrist. When the spreading hand reaches the 90 degree point, I gently pull my wrist back so that the hand holding the cards pivots away from the spreading hand slightly.

    Help - I can't fan cards... :(

Do you have Xtreme Beginnerz yet? There's a comprehensive fanning workshop with Jerry Cestkowski.

    Diary of a Nitwit Magician

There's two distinct possibilities here. He's either a move monkey who values style over substance in the extreme and only practices magic to buoy his ego. Or he's pretending to be an egocentric moron in order to satirize people like Brian Tudor. Unfortunately, the joke is getting rather old.

    Comedy in Magic

It takes away from magic if the magic in question is boring, dull, and pointless. There's already a medium for people who want to watch people who are only interested in gratifying themselves. It's called pornography.

    New to Flourishing

Marketing. Anyway, I really recommend Xtreme Beginnerz as a starting point. All the basics are covered using a very simple and intuitive teaching system, hand and finger exercises are covered, and it provides an effective launching point to go further.

Oh, I am going to have so much fun with this. Apples and oranges. Of course they would. Because the other guy would be entertaining instead of masturbating all over the audience's faces. To quote Yahtzee, you're projecting so hard you coudl point yourself at a wall and show PowerPoint...

    Tricks That Attract Girls

And on that note, the thread is going to swiftly devolve into the same level of banality and stupidity that comes every time a guitarist asks other musicians for songs to pick up chicks. God I hate people.

    Battle of Champs

Here I was thinking that the battle system would cut down on insipid magical celebrity gossip. Turns out it's just adding to it.

    Made for Girls

Am I the only one left who can tell the difference between best-dressed and most expensively dressed? I confess, it's easier for me to assume people are stupid until they prove otherwise.

    Tricks That Attract Girls

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Speaking as a guitarist, that really only works if you're Van Morrison. If you're not Van Morrison, you can generally go screw yourself. Besides the guitarist you usually see at a party is playing pop tunes he learned last weeks in a...

    Made for Girls

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I hate to keep beating people with the Obvious Hammer, but it seems this simple piece of advice is beyond the comprehension of most of the rabble. Yes I do. Because I like to think that any room I walk into, I'm the best-dressed guy there...

    Battle System - Cheesy?

Yeah, but a poetry slam has a greater degree of social interaction, and a Halo tournament actually has the possibility of walking away with a cash prize. All in all, I think the system is just pandering to the kids here who want nothing more than to show off for its own sake. You say it will...
