    Smooth Operations Review

I do like the material but i just hate all of the "filler" stuff. Seems like a waste of time but i'm sure there are people that will like it. The thing i love the most is the Visa Switch, so easy and looks so great. The effects are also worth every penny.

    Dana DaOrtiz

I've seen him before and love his magic. Check out his magic castle vids.

    Joker being a Joker

Very beautiful but pretty angle sensitive for real world performance. Reminds me of NatureG0D's style.

Card Cheat Routines / Monte Effects

I use a Gambling theme when doing my Invisible Palm. You could also look into Lee Asher's Catch 33. It's a great three card monte routine that contains a fabulous "tnr" finish.

    Recuperating When Tricks Go Wrong

I completely messed up Hoffzy Osbourne the other night at a wedding, luckily my usual style is very shifty for comedic purposes and people don't really realise if i mess stuff up. I did have to talk for a bit and keep their attention off of the cards in order to set the whole thing up...

    Click Change and Tivo 2.0

Click change - if you can do a Cardini snap change then it'll only take you a bit of practice to transfer the move to your other hand (left). I've just literally got the change down after about a week of practice. Tivo 2.0 - The more you do it, the easier it will get. At first i struggled a...

    Card Through Table

I usually just use Brian Tudor's version on The Heckler, i'm sure you can figure it out from the preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fen1oLzJSB4 - around the 1:05 mark.

    V Switch

The switch used in Hedberg's Peak, a nice tool but i can't seem to create anything that incorporates it. Has anyone played around with it or has any ideas?

    The OH-ficial color change thread

Lennart Green's Top Shot change thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goyUV1fxzkM Ridiculously clever, thats why he's the best.

I got an amazing reaction by doing Paul Gordon's trick - i think its called something like "1001 ways" - anyway; i have a card selected (an ace), find the mates (three more aces), lose them in the deck, find them in spectacular ways apart from the last one. I dont move from my spot and start...

    Daniel Madison One Notes Help!

I do the final part but i don't put the thing in my pocket, i usually give the cards to someone to hold on to and get someone else to place their hand on top of the other cards that are on the table. Then i tell them that the card will end up "in between the queens" - and it does, just...

    Daniel Madison One Notes Help!

Yeah that's what i though you meant, Daniel refers to it in the notes as the turnover pass and i think he mentions its Dynamo's move. Check out a vid on YouTube, a guy performs the first phase of the trick and just seeing the move helped me a lot. For me, its all about covering the small...

    Best deck switch

Just do any visual change then. An Erdnase or the one the Bucks use to vanish the 3rd queen. Or just a pass, this does require you to instill the colour of the deck throughout the trick in the audience's mind.

    Best deck switch

Just put the cards away, do a coin trick and take the "other" deck out afterwards. Always works for me.

    Why the hate?

I don't mind E. Some effects are awful and overpriced but there are some real gems. They have good performers and i always enjoy watching their previews. I've never been against Penguin either because of Oz Pearlman and i do use quite a few of their tricks/ideas.

    Stigmata or Control?

Torn is the best TNR effect there is! It's the most practical and jaw-dropping.

    Eteinne Pradier?

They are both very good. I personally don't perform that many of the routines but they are still quite nice to know. The bottle through table gets great reactions. It very much depends on your repertoire and where you perform. Weddings, restaurants and private parties are great for this stuff...
