    Where to Start?

I've found that if you really cannot do something (bloody Le Paul!), don't waste 24 hours practicing it. Practice something else that you're getting nearer to and that you will use, then the other things will start to work as well. Practice while doing other stuff, like watching tv.

4 More on Floor or 5Speed

For those of you who know both 5 Speed (TOoC/1on1) and More Four on the Floor (Full Metal Jacket), which do you think is the better trick? The problem is they both have valid pros and cons. 5Speed requires a gimmick, even though i know a version without one. It seems like a more elaborate...

    The Cardician's Bible Says...

Out of this World is a prime example of "i didn't even do anything!" Amazing reactions because people can't attribute it to sleight of hand. Another great example is Lennart Green. He handles cards like a five year old, yet at the same time he is at one with the cards. He doesn't control...

    Sandwich tricks?

Fish Sandwich or Oreo Sandwich are from Penguin i believe. You're better off getting a book or something. Jeff Teo's Sandwich effect is great.

    Knowledge - Help or Hindrance?

It wasn't D********* was it? I spent some time there a couple of years ago and bought a few decks. I was surprised and almost shocked to get a certain look of disapproval after i asked for the Stripper deck. Bloody gits. We were all beginners once.

Death to the Double Undercut :: Review

That's the sign of a great creation - longevity and consistency. The DU is versatile, easy and angle proof. Let's hope noone actually buys that 1 on 1.

Death to the Double Undercut :: Review

The Double Undercut is one of the most ingenious ways to control cards. Am i right in thinking Dai Vernon invented it? What a terrible 1 on 1

    Catch33: Three Card Monte

I've got it and it's one of the best 3 Card Montes around. Simple and straightforward. No gimmicks but a little set up if you want to blow the audience away at the end. Get it.

    Best Outtake Battle

It's very simple, forget the effect/flourish. This has happened to everyone (except Ammar) - you're doing a trick and suddenly the cards come alive and jump out of your hands and on to the floor. The video with the funniest/best outtake wins. Could be live or for camera and cannot be...

    Filler effects?

If you know a trick that produces two four-of-a-kinds you should go into Reset or Jazz Aces. The tricks should flow nicely from one to the other. Produce four aces ---> Collectors Logic should guide your choice of tricks.

    My favourite magician at work

I still prefer Pepe Carroll's version that ends on a great climax. The trick is called Tamed Spades i think and Ineski did it live on TV. He's on the forum.

    Big Deal by Joshua Jay

I saw this effect a while back and was blown away by the climaxes, or climaxi. I don't have that many stacked deck tricks but usually use Lennart Green's five poker hands trick. Works great. Might get this though
