Just out of curiosity, why don't you use the pop-up move? There are very few ACR moves that are that strong for laymen.
Also, I'm not so sure about the scripting philosophy. If you keep it short, a good ACR pretty much speaks for itself.
The only thing I really know about De'vo is an exchange I had with him online a few years ago.
He was basically saying everyone should handle cards smoothly and with grace like a professional, and should be able to demonstrate that they have more skill with a deck of cards than the spectators...
People post these things asking for others to help vote for them all the time, but half the time the links provided do not take you to a voting page (such as this case--it's just a link to a video and comment page), and the person posting gives no instruction on how to go about voting.

I don't really know how to answer your question other than saying what I've already said: "They're stronger... I definitely had to treat the original SLR bands a lot more gently than I do the new SLR Slims... they hold up much better."
I can tell you that last night I performed my entire...
Thanks, guys.
I just got back from performing with the new SLR Slims tonight. SLR went over great every time, as always. I really think the new SLR Slims handle much better than the original SLR bands. They hold up much better, and pretty much handle like regular 19s. Perfect for that Joe...
Souvenir Linking Rubberbands
This has been one of my favorite effects for a while now. It's fun to perform, relatively easy, and people really do love keeping the linked rubberbands as a souvenir. I've been performing the effect for close to a year now and it's definitely become a staple in my...

I still have life 80 of the old bands. No worries though, they'll get used. :)
I am excited to check out the new ones though. The advertisement say they're slimmer and tougher. Also, looks like in the picture they have a rounder shape to them.
I'll let you know when they arrive.
Until...
Use the unlinked bands provided. If you start with different bands than those used for SLR you're making the needs for a switch obvious.
No. I've performed the effect quite a few times and I've never had anyone question the bands. Paul Harris just released SLR in slim bands too. You can check...
Dude, this was excellent. That was really funny. :)
Not only is it obvious you put a lot of thought and creativity into this, it's also apparent, listening to your lyrics, you're passionate about magic. Good luck to you!
Just about every effect I do happens in the spectator's hands in some way or another. I'm not really into "watch the magician" magic. I like to get spectators involved. Funny enough, on topic, just last night I was at a gig and this girl said the exact words: "I like this--I feel so involved."...
I agree. SLR is killer. I normally use SLR for gigs, but rarely if I'm just going out. I like having a strong impromptu linking rubberband routine for casual performances.
1. how many tricks would you recommend doing to each table?
I think between 3 and 5 is ideal, depending on how long your effects are and how into the magic your audience seems. I usually open with Lit when I do walk-around, which alone has three moments of magic built into it. After that I...
