    "Z-Magic" (NEW VERSION)

One would just be as distracting.

    "Z-Magic" (NEW VERSION)

Hey there. You have some nice stuff in there. You seem to come across as a pretty likable guy when you perform. My main comments would be on that editing of the video in general. • 7 minutes is quite long, especially if you want to use this for a demo. I think you could really communicate...

    Rubber Band Tricks

You might want to check out Joe Rindfleisch's DVD, Jumper. Some of the best original rubber band magic out there. Here is a link to the whole routine taught on the DVD. The thing he does with the knot is just amazing.

    Material

My advice would be to sit down and write all the effects you can actually perform. Then look at what objects each effect uses, and try to expand from there. I did this a couple years ago and it helped me a lot in diversifying the props I perform with. Now if someone hands me a ring, a cigarette...

BEST Self Working Card Trick with No Setup / Gimmicks

No gimmick, no set-up. Can be done over the phone with a spectator's shuffled deck just like in the preview. Great effect. As is Prime Cut. Prime Cut is a killer. Then again this is a DVD featuring Paul Vigil so what would you expect? All around good DVD. If you get it from Bob Kohler it's only...

BEST Self Working Card Trick with No Setup / Gimmicks

Excellent effect. Very strong. Does have a set-up though. I was actually performing Shuffling Lesson in a bar one night and this guy came over and started watching me. I introduced myself and then he told me his name: Chad Long. I was pretty surprised. He said I did the effect well and we...

T11 members:: What magic effects are you performing?

So people are skeptical of you pulling a deck of cards out of your pocket but not a balloon? Hmm. If you can introduce a balloon I'm sure you can introduce a deck of cards. Perhaps you just haven't found the right approach to introducing the cards into your performance yet. I'm sure you could...

How do you become a con man ?

You're openly asking for information on how you can learn to con honest, good people out of their money? Seriously?

BEST Self Working Card Trick with No Setup / Gimmicks

Yeah, that's not the original Out of this World by Paul Curry though. A very nice take on the classic though! Clever. Very nice. :) I still would not deem this version self-working though. The magician is doing some sneaky stuff and the effect cannot be completely handled by the spectator.

BEST Self Working Card Trick with No Setup / Gimmicks

I'm confused by what you guys deem "self working." To me it means the effect solves itself without any additional help from the magician. Basically, "no skill needed" to perform the effect. -Out of This World is not an impromptu, self working effect. It has a set-up, and that set-up involves...

For the basis of the effect check out Through and Through by Dan Hauss.

Water Trap would be mine too. Brilliant effect.

    Questions for Danny Garcia

Well before you break out your sarcasm quote book perhaps you should look back over what you wrote. All you said was, "I will be compiling all your questions and present them to him along with my own." And you still have yet to clarify how you plan on going about it. If you're looking for...

    FIVE - The First Review

Right now I perform Slink and I really like it. The angles aren't too bad to work with, but I'm always looking to better my magic. If Raw Linkage is indeed better I would buy it. But since I've never actually seen what the routine looks like it's hard to lay down $30 for it. Especially since I'm...

    T11 Members :: Scenario #1

I can think of a lot of effects that fit the scenario and the props available , but what I would actually perform would be: -Napkin Vanish (Karrel Fox) -Mr. Clean Coins Across (Jay Sankey) -Two Finger Touch (Not sure whose it is but basically you cause someone to touch their two pointer fingers...

A bit vague. What do you mean "morphing your pinky finger?" Morphing it into what?

    FIVE - The First Review

I love linking band effects, and if Raw Linkage really is the best impromptu linking band effect out there, I'd buy the DVD just for that one effect. But I can't see enough of the damn effect in the preview video to tell if it's worth the investment! I really like the stylized trailers...

    My School Paper

I used to teach high school English and DaveyG covered all the major points, and really took the time to give you some very good advice here. I hope you take the time to comb through your essay and follow all the tips and points he laid out for you. The only other thing I would add is tone down...

    Questions for Danny Garcia

So are you going to just walk up to him and hand him a list of questions and ask him to fill them out? Because that sounds like homework. If you really want to do this right you should prepare your questions ahead of time and ask for an interview and be prepared to record it (video or audio).
