    Patrick Kun :: Invisible Hands

I loved this so much I'm posting my thumbs up on two different forums!;)

This might be interesting for the mechanics in the room.

Thanks for chiming in Mr. England. Yes, from reading some other posts he does seem to come back to ringing in decks. It's all good though. I love listening to old timers, even if they embellish a bit. Especially if they embellish!

I got the impression he was referring to the move...not stating that he was the guy in the video. I could be wrong? Definitely the guy in the video didn't look 70.

This might be interesting for the mechanics in the room.

A guy claiming to be a retired card sharp showed up at penguin. I have no reason to doubt what he claims to be but, then, my interest in this form of card work is relatively new. Nevertheless, I have tried to engage him and keep him welcome over there. If he is the real deal he could be a great...

    Limited Edition Cards

I guess I can't speak for them, but I would guess that a lot of these guys are real card afficionados. If you look at the history of Dan and Dave's curated shopping section, you will see that over the years they have not only sold their own brand but introduced a lot of people to some really...

    Classic Pass Flash

I'm no pass expert...In fact I have the same problem you do! Anyways, looking at it from a third person perspective, first consider your viewing angle. Tilt the hands down a bit. You are also filming for someone seated while you are standing. If you perform like that(ie. restaurant work) then...

    Drop shifts or Hops?

Okay thanks for those leads. I think I have a source on that spin pass. I'll check it out. Never heard of the ping pong pass? If I ever get revelation I'll be sure to look that up. Thank you very much.

    Drop shifts or Hops?

I actually plan on using it in a big riffle stacking/ace control sequence so I am not sure I understand the "reverse one cut" comment? That is exactly what I want to use it for. Reverse a spectators cut after I have controlled the aces. Hops versus passes...thanks for that insight. Part of...

    Drop shifts or Hops?

Some of you know that I am kind of new to gambling demos. I just started exploring Drop Shifts and Hops. Both techniques look really good and I will likely practice both but as an acedemic question. So, to you gambling gurus, which do you prefer and why? If no preference then what pros and cons...

    Complete List of Reviews

What would be nice is to see card reviews separated in a different area than regular reviews. That seems to keep the clutter down on review forums. Just a thought...probably to much work to bother with at this point.

    All Around Magician?

Michael Ammar, John Carney, Dai Vernon, Ted Anneman(mentalist known for his card skills), Hrmmm....Yep it's cool.

How much will you be selling your Smoke and Mirrors?

I know what you mean. I am currently residing in Korea where rider back 808s go for $7.00/ per! Kind of makes it easy to justify custom decks. Even after shipping my v.5s are cheaper than that.

    Unseal & reseal bicycle decks?

I would agree with that. Most laymen have no idea that you can actually buy deck seals on their own so the celophane is more of a convincer for magicians.

    Bulldog Squeezers Deck Review

Bulldog Squeezers (3rd week Update)Three weeks on a USPCC mid range deck. I haven’t experienced that since the Steamboat review. These cards are definitely headed towards my all star category. They have begun to look like a worn deck, they finally took on a convex shape and the edges finally...

    Favorite mentalism trick?

I agree with "A Day In Your Life." With proper patter and presentation this one is hard to beat(at least for closeup, impromptu mentalism) In the relm of mentalism with cards(I know Blasphemy to some!) I really think Asher's "Cheek To Cheek Asher Style" is about the best. There is way more...

    Unseal & reseal bicycle decks?

Go in from the bottom. Be very careful. Use an exacto blade to peel the corners open. Re-seal with super glue. I would suggest giving the pull tab a start if someone else is going to open it. Resealing the cellophane never looks "perfect" so you don't want someone fumbling trying to get at the...

    Deck of the Decade

Texan's are a great looking card. Only question...when were they first released?

    Deck of the Decade

"DeckAid" Ha! I love it. Sorry about missing the decade btw. I always think 1-10 not 0-9. As for those Conjuring Arts decks....do you have a preference? Ivory or Air Flow? As to the poll, I will add it in here but there have been so many good decks in this time frame I better start with...

How much will you be selling your Smoke and Mirrors?

Sorry Mr. Draven, (and those that share his views) I respect many of your posts and I am a fan of your reviews but I find your comments, and the comments of many others in regards to card collecting, rude and uninviting. Card collecting, and thus discussing the potential future value of certain...
