Flourishes and Card magic

This is based in my experience as a magician..
i think that this is a fact..

as i practice some of my flourishes,
it have a disadvantage and advantage in magic.

the advantage is.

* SOME of the flourishes can make your magic more amazing.
like using flourishes for productions and for other card effects.

disadvantage is:

* you may forgot some of your card magic and routines when you're practicing
flourishes.

in short, if you're practicing. you should focus or choose if you will go for flourish or card magic.

but what if you want to focus in both..?

in my side... I'm writing my card routine in my notebook and I'm scheduling
when do i practice card magic and flourishes.
but still, it is so hard to do.

i need your own opinion guys..

what will you do if you want to focus in card magic and flourishes.?

I don't see why it's hard to do both. I mean, I play guitar and I do magic and I work on flourishes and I watch TV and I go to the movies and I'm writing a screenplay... I do each whenever I need to or please.

maybe you have mastered you're routine and flourishes..
its good for you.. i think you have enough time to practice..

of course i can also do magic, flourishes and stuff..
but if i'm focusing in card magic.. my flourishes become not that polished.
if i'm practicing my flourishes.. i forgot some of my routines..
so, i think.. it's bad for me..

i wish that you get my point.

its hard to practice when you're studying and at school from 9am-9pm..

Personally in my opinion, it's quite rare for someone who does card magic and flourisher as well like Kevin Ho, for example. For me, I like to mainly focus on my card magic and whenever I have spare time, I usually do card flourishes for my main hobby.
