Help with my theory11 cart!

Hey guys!

My theory 11 cart is simply too much. I'll write down what's in it. Are any of these effects not worth it, etc?

- Exile – theory 11 -- $35
- Coin One – theory 11 -- $30
- Triple Shuffle – theory 11 -- $5
- Tivo 2.0 – theory 11 -- $5
- Swissmade – theory 11 -- $5
- Subway – theory 11 -- $5
- B4cut – theory 11 -- $5
- Slipshot – theory 11 -- $5
- Cookie Cutter – theory 11 -- $10
- Trifecta – theory 11 -- $10
- Stairway – theory 11 - $10

ON TO THE CARDS.

- Brown Wynns (x3) – theory 11 -- $15 OUT OF STOCK
- 125 Edition Cards (x6) – theory 11 -- $25
- Propaganda (x3) – theory 11 -- $15
- Guardians (x3) – theory 11 -- $15
- Centurions [white] (x3) – theory 11 -- $15 OUT OF STOCK
- Centurions [black] (x2) – theory 11 -- $10
- Tally-ho Fan Back (x4) – theory 11 -- $8
- Tally-ho Circle Back (x18) – theory 11 -- $35
- Smoke and Mirrors (x3) – theory 11 -- $18 OUT OF STOCK
- Split Spades (x6) – theory 11 -- $30 OUT OF STOCK s
- Sentinels (x3) – theory 11 -- $18

GRAND TOTAL $326

I definitely need to cut down on some of this stuff. Wherever you see a (x) that means how many. If you see a 3 that means 1 for keeping in the plastic too collect, and the other 2 for use. The tally ho's are for practice that's why there are so many of them. Do they last longer than reg bikes? Does the Joe Porper Card Clip fit all of these cards?

for starters. you have several cards which aren't actually for sale in your cart... that can be dropped from the price.
unless you have the gimmicks needed i wouldn't pick up CoinOne cause you will have to spend more for the coins. If you do have them keep it, its awesome. I would drop exile because from what i hear the gimmick is real sketchy and doesn't last long.

I would pick either CoinOne or Trifecta, not both, because if you get CoinOne your just gonna want CoinTwo eventually and between them they have all the moves on Trifecta.

I do have the gimmick for coin one, its the coin sh***, right? Only 1 though right? I'll get rid of trifecta, and also, I started a thread for exile review, and the people said its good. I'm kinda wishy washy on buying that one :\

ok, then definitely go with CoinOne, its a great dvd and great effect. honestly i would skip trifecta and just wait and buy CoinTwo, you get a lot more for your money, just dont wait too long there are only a few left. I would still skip Exile because of what i have heard but its your call on that. You could also consider waiting and getting the whole Trilogy's tricks disc since your gonna buy several of the tricks seperately anyways. Your gonna pay 15$ for 3 tricks when you could pay $30 for like 12. Triple shuffle is something you could probably work out yourself if you just play with it some. If i had to limit it to the smallest stuff i would get, i would pick up Subway, Stairway, CoinOne, Slipshot, and Cookie Cutter for the tricks. For the decks i would only pass on the 125th anniversary ones but thats just cause i personally dont like them. but if you subtract all the cards that are out of stock and you cant get anyways, with the tricks i listed you would only be looking at a total of $161.00 ish. much cheaper.

Don't get b4cut, subway, swissmade, tivo2.0, and triple shuffle. There, just saved you 35 bucks. Drop CoinOne if you're still getting audio by eric jones from. That saves another 30 bucks. As for the cards, don't get so many...

... Buy a book. I guarantee it will last longer than all of those tricks combined, if it's a good one. That's a half serious comment.

The more serious comment I have is this. If you're not sure what you should be buying, you probably shouldn't be buying at all.

Oh, and don't forget, you'll get crapped on by shipping costs too. Not really sure why you need all those cards personally. I buy two bricks of whatever I want to use, and I don't need to buy cards again for about 18 months.

If you are getting Audio, CoinOne shouldn't be there. I would revise your list to this cause it's all you really need:

1. EXILE if you are interested in performing it. I have it and I'm still working on practicing it to get used to it. Takes some time to get it down smooth even though it's a gimmick.

2. Slipshot. This is a nice card production you can use a lot of tricks. It is a very neat move, I think you'll use it and enjoy it.

3. Cookie Cutter ONLY if you do that kind of stuff a lot, Bizarre Magic. If you don't do that type of magic, and only do it for casual parties with friends, it would be okay. It is a great effect, it's just that you have a wide range of genre here it's kinda impossible to know what you like more.

4. Stairway. This is a very neat effect for school (if you go to school) or walkaround. I'm still practicing this one as well; you will have to work at it to get smoother and smoother each time.

(Only if you are a card collector I would get all of those decks. If you are performing more than collecting I would say go with a few of theory11s and E custom decks and buy a load of bicycles. But if more for collecting than go for it.)

I heard Audio is a fantastic DVD. I would definitely get that, as well as the Porper Clip if you want to really protect your cards. Xtreme Beginnerz I heard was just okay, but if you are just starting out in that area pick up Andrei's Genesis DVD here at theory11. It will serve you well in getting started!

Hope this helped man, just keep in mind you dont need to overload yourself with a plethora of effects all at once. Get the downloads first, then after a while get the material things like the cards and DVDs.

I also concur with Prae here. BOOKS ARE AMAZING MAN! Definitely get some books! Even if you don't like reading, a lot of great and fantastic tricks are loaded in them, especially Card College, Expert Card Technique, Five Points in Magic, Paper Engine, ect. Definitely recommend those four right there. As for shipping, you will get raped in shipping costs when you order a lot of cards. Keep in mind the more cards you add the shipping will dramatically increase. And if you are still questioning after all of the advice, don't buy at all, cause likely you aren't wise enough to spend your money properly yet.

Thanks for the advice casey! i am in school so stairway, cookie cutter, and exile are awesome effects for that. My teacher has a gazillion books so thats no problem. I am a collector, but even with that in mind, I'll only get 2 of each kind. Are you suggesting I get Genesis instead of getting both of the xtreme beginnerz'?

i don't want to get the ellusionist stuff anymore because the shipping will probably be just as much as the cards themselves. ill buy more stuff there and then buy the cards.

thank you guys for your help, I'm pretty sure I'm gnna grab all this stuff then. maybe ill perform cookie cutter for the sedin twins!
