The best way (which I think you know) is an overhand shuffle. A little more difficult is a right hand bottom palm with a replacement on the top of the deck.
I understand from the video you posted showing the control you came up with why you are interested in this.
But, as a note, you will rarely have to do this in a performance. Most cards that need to be controlled are inserted in the middle of the deck and then moved from the middle to the top or the bottom of the deck. So, typically, you wouldn't need to do this.
