Split Session v2 Assembly

I've been watching these videos and the technique seems interesting. I still haven't purchased all the necessary supplies.

If someone can provide information in how an assembled gaff compares to a standard card in straightness, thickness and rigidity I'd appreciate.

I use tally ho cards, and I'm interested in using this technique for making gaffs where a double facer and an additional card are stuck together and handled as one card, so the above properties are important to me.

Much Thanks.
