I think I've hit a nasty case of writers block. The creative well of my mind has gone dry... I guess it's back to lurking until I have something worth while to say.

Very informative thread by the way. We really needed to know that you have nothing to write about. And now you are probably going to write a thread about negative people yayaya whatever keeps you busy man..

What was the point of that? Really?
Draven regularly puts out high quality, informative posts that many people look forward to. He is one of the few guys here that has REAL experience and actually tries to share it. A simple note like this is anything but inappropriate and pointless. You seem to represent the group of negative people that you are afraid he is going to write about.
Just leave the 12 year old maturity level back at home where it belongs. No need for it here.

I try to not focus on the negative too much. I don't find it constructive.
Relax Draven. Seriously you do not have to contribute a message EVERY single day. Perhaps just tell us something new you tried or are working on or a reaction you got from a spectator.
Or...how about just stepping away from Theory11 for a few days and come back. I do this from time to time and it always refreshes me.

I just don't think you should sit in front of your computer thinking "hmmm, what should I write what should I write!

I mean, why don't you wait until you have something to write about? Instead of just wanting to write just because you - want to write!
I would rather read something, where I could really sense you put a lot of thought and effort into the subject, rather than read something half-assed you wrote just because you wanted to post SOMETHING.
PS. Lyle, no nead to call my attitude a 12 year olds. I thought you could handle a little critisism. A little negativiti is good. I like being questioning. If I didn't, I would be a religious dude listening to mainstream pop-music..

William-writers block huh? Do like all writers do. Drink.
Or most of the time so I can get inspired I go out and do something completely different from my usual days or(my number one) isolate myself completely and immerse myself fully almost in a film,character(as in act all day as a different person),etc.
I find that its not really about not being inspired or lack of ideas that cause writers block,but just a small change(or big one)
Like orson welles said "A good artist should be isolated. If he isnt isolated,something is wrong".
Take a hike (literally) and don't come back for awhile. Your muse will return to you when you least expect it.
William Draven; I have huge amounts of respect for you and your contributions to T11, however I have to agree with some of the others here. this thread was somewhat pointless. Maybe you're having a bad day or whatever - that seems likely if you are getting writer's block, but do not feel the need to uphold your reputation by posting everyday. I respect you for the quality of what you say - not the frequency with which you say it.
I agree with Randy. Going on a long walk helps one turn things over in one's mind. Try to get into some coutryside.

I'll agree that it is a useless post however the harsh criticism isn't needed. William posts many good threads and if he decided to post a random thread with no meaning then go for it.
I just see it as another thread where people express how much they don't care about something that they seem to care about.
