To be brutally honest, I think way too many people are using Brad as a scapegoat, and that kind of politics is poisoning the magic community.
Well, got that out of my system.
Anyway, I'm from the Ellusionist boards. My early days there were rocky to say the least, but it's been good times ever since. And I really think the tough love I experienced there made me a better magician since I took it as a personal challenge.
I'd like to see Theory 11 succeed as much as the next guy, but I really think these forums need a swift kick in the head and better moderation. As it is, it's chaos over here and a lot of threads getting made at the drop of a hat that are all basically the same thing.
If you haven't noticed yet, I'm a little out-spoken. And opinionated. And blunt, slightly coarse, sarcastic, and something of a pain to deal with at first. But I grow on you.
Now, I would like this to be a friendly community, but I really think we all need to drop the ridiculous politics going about. My playing devil's advocate may not help the situation, but I found it slightly ironic that this thread is supposed to be about unity and half the posts are taking potshots at this forum or that forum.
I haven't paid much attention to Jay's relationship with Penguin.

Ive been at E for a while, I thought it was quite good there. I never had any trouble. I like it here, its great, although I think the loose rules could possibly back fire. But oh well, still a great place to be
