if i have an A4 sheet of flash paper- Folded and inside containing Normal, White paper confetti- If i set that flash paper on fire, will the confetti set on fire too? or will it be seperate?

The idea is to burn the flash paper to turn into confetti. Nevermind about the ignition, i figured that out.

it should light separately from the confetti, set a piece of confetti on fire and see how fast it burns

I doubt confetti is as flammable as the flash paper, the I don't know the flash point for confetti though.

It all else fails take a small piece of flash paper and make a mini of your set up.

Again I think you should be safe.

Perhaps it's just me but isn't burning plastic bad, or maybe it's one of those products that says it's something when it's really not.

Either way, my guess is that it shouldn't burn the white paper since the consistency is different. It probably won't make a big difference though, since burning paper doesn't really look like anything. When the paper shrivels it'll prob look like a little ball but this is just a guess as I have no real idea what will happen.

I would think that if parts of the confetti are a little burned it may only add to the effect

but that's just me

Bean, you raise a very good point there.

And yeah- guess i'll have to test it out. (and waste an A4 of flash. Damn.)
