Ever needed to glue a card to a wall?
Ever wanted to stick a small coin to your hand without it falling?
Ever wanted to attach a coin to a wire of invisible threadquickly and without a hussle?
Ever meant to quickly make a double backer in mid performance?
Ever wanted to perofmr most of Kevin Parker's effects?

I could go on...;)

Magician's wax is crucial to an effect I'm developing at the moment with a friend of mine. He's also used wax for a year or two. I've read things from very old books containing similar effects, it's been around and it is around, but no, it's true, few people actually use it.

would it have the same effect as what a double stick tape would do?

and i believe that Magicians wax is a utility tool, kind of like a thumb tip. not a trick in itself such as Distortion or panic.

I've actually used carmex or Burt's beeswax (lipbalm). A small dab on my pinkie nail, then smeared to the card. Works great if you don't have magicians wax.
