New to Magic

A quick note on YouTube:

First off, everyone making blanket generalizations about YouTube sucking for learning magic is an idiot. I learned off of youtube for months and adapted the techniques so they would look natural, and it also inspired an interest in magic.

Don't be so quick to write it off.

I agree that you can't make blanket assumptions, but you could suck really bad at magic. Just because you're here and learned magic off YouTube doesn't mean you learned anything decent and that you don't suck. You may not know your magic history either, or the proper move names etc.

That is my biggest problem with youtube tutorials. It's like learning from Brad Christian. Yes you will learn the move, but I would like to learn the actual history and credits behind the move.
