See if I cant figure out a way to do it without spending money I don't have. :)

I'm guessing the method is so simple we'll all slap our foreheads for not thinking of it...

But, when has something come out and us as magicians not slapped our heads for thinking the obvious...

me too. I can't remember which book it was, though.

Good then I'm not crazy. Well yes I am but thats besides the point. Anyhow it's a very nice effect but I can't help to think there's somewhere else he should have gone with it though. It feels half finished but it got a good reaction and thats all that matters. Waynes still a great performer.

You sir are correct. Wayne published this routine in Genii, along with another ring and envelope routine (which I think is wayyyyy better than this) using a simple but f-ing ingenious method. I could've sworn that he said to punch the hole on the other end of the envelope though...I guess I have to read again. Oh well.
