Are there any good magic shows which are worth visiting in NY? I have found out that where I will be living is a 20 minute walk to Tannen's Magic! Which sounds good. I want to see other magic related things out there (I will be there early January). Any recommendations are appreciated :D

It really is practice, as much as you get stressed out when learning something that keeps going wrong, just think you will get it in the end.

Yeah a birthday thread I know... But I am 21 today and I am sooooo hung over. Went out last night and I ended up on stage with a huge watermelon! I shall get photos for my lovely Theory11 community later A lot of us dressed up as magicians and had big inflatable magic wands too!

MagicalTrevor, I just advise you to stay at school, or nursery, where ever you are at the moment. Seriously. - Give up this whole comedy and magic situation, unless you show us a video clip of your hilarious performances.

Should be interesting, I am more of a people person, rather than performing to the camera. How would you go about learning misdirection. I use lots of decent misdirections which fool people, but I am afraid I will not be able to capture it, unless the camera moves away from what I am misdirecting.

Yeah, they showed you it, not taught you it, that is what I dis-liked about it. However, the Trilogy was taught very well, which is probably the reason people reference to that DVD more. - My opinion anyway, I am not saying the System is bad, just not well taught.

I personally did not like the System, I found it really hard to learn, it was the first disc I was learning from. I have learnt nothing from it and it has gotten dusty... When people were recommending the Trilogy, I was a bit worried of purchasing it as I thought it was just going to be a...
