An ultimate act of Jerry's Nugget loyalty?

  1. Some people take things to extreme levels!

Just ask Asher's Announcements family member Matt. N from Ontario, Canada.

Take a moment to look at his efforts by clicking here.

To what extremes would you go to own a deck of classic Jerry's Nugget cards?

    Asher

ps. I do not advocate getting any tattoo for any reason.

  2. I wouldn't go to any extremes to own Jerry's. I'd like them, sure, but... Meh. If tattoos are your thing, I suppose.

  3. Cool

Very cool, but no way I would go to this extent to "own" my Jerry Nugget's deck of cards. If I have some spare time - maybe a removable tattoo? If there's any sold. I am not that crazy about decks I suppose.
Anyway, nice pics Lee. Those were unique. Maybe they should feature card deck tattoos on the next season of Miami Ink?
    Hahaha.

  4. ... This sounds like a Klondike scam lol. "I'd run down the street wearing Jerry's Nugget boxers in the middle of January, in just the boxers..." Ha!

Out of the whole thing, the only thing that cault my attention was:

"Soon, here at LeeAsher.com. No auctions, no fake paper, no scams - just the real thing. After striking a deal with the world's largest private-reserve owner of Jerry's Nuggets Playing Cards, LeeAsher.com is proud to soon offer everyone a chance to own one of the most prestigious and sought-after decks on this planet."

    I'll be watching.

  5. Hmmm. Tattoo...I wont go that extreme but I'm sure I could up with something. I like Jerry's alot but not enough to change my body over. Let me think....

  6. I'd have Jerry's Nuggets implants....

    ...in my palms.

  7. the fail, is epic.

  8. I kind of enjoy the placement and idea of his tattoo, but I think it would have been much better with a decent card back design. I also think it looks kinda cartoony and poorly detailed. Edit: totally missed the part about getting it finished.

  9. personally i like the tat but i would have gotten it higher on my arm and maybe of
different cards, but it looks awsome!

ps: i would never do that for a deck o jerrys

  10. I just want to interject (and clarify) that Matt N. did not get tatted for a deck of Jerry's Nugget cards, rather, he did it for the love of the cards.

    Hope that clears things up.

If you're reading this, thanks for sharing with us Matt.

  11. Would have looked better if it was more detailed

  12. I think it's pretty cool.

  13. I think I remember this guy! Was he at the Eric Mead lecture too, Lee?0

  14. Michael: I think Matt might have been at the Eric Mead lecture, but the pictures shown here, were taken at the Michael Ammar lecture (August '08) right before Sorcerers Safari.

    Hope that helps...

  15. Personally, and this may just be me, i'd get the Guardians. But that's just cause I love the art work so much, (and they are my favorite cards right infront of Tally's).

    So the article says:

"His goal is to finish the design within the next year"

Any chance we'll see pics of the tat when it's completed?

  16. WOW. I don't know if I would get a tattoo to show my loyailty.

But I really want a Jerrys deck. :)

  17. That's what I thought... it's pretty memorable considering I got my few decks shortly after the lecture.

  18. Are your decks genuine?

With fakes that look fantastic from the outside, when is careful ever careful enough?

If you can't trust your eyes, you have to trust your source.

Did you get them from someone reputable?
