We all have been there. You've got a gig later today, and you feel like crap. You've been in a rut. You're magic doesn't feel like it's getting any better, your friends tell you you're chasing a pipe dream, and if you get paid for your work, it never seems like enough to pay the bills or justify getting out of bed for it.
Talk about suffering for your art! Yet if you don't go out there every day and give it your all you know you won't make it. So what do you do? I find having a certain play list on my ipod helps give me the attitude adjustment that I need to go out and give it my all.
Here's my list.
"Fields of Glory": The High Kings
"Lose Yourself": EminEm
"Back in the Loop": E-Type
"Karma": Kamelot
"Here I Go Again": E-Type Feat NaNa
"We Will Rock You": Queen
"Mitternach" E Nomine
"Welcome to the Jungle": Guns N' Roses
"Sympathy for the Devil": Guns N' Roses
"Paint it Black": Rolling Stones
"Princes of the Universe": Queen
"Numb": Linkin Park
"Bleed it Out": Linkin Park
"In the End": Linkin Park
What's yours?
