Shut up, is performing three card monte not busking? Bus fair may seem trivial to you but it was my life for me back then. Let me set the scene for you in the underground of Hawaii. Meth is at every street corner, mixed races and gangs run the neighborhoods, the house next door to mine catches fire and explodes do to a methlab. Tell me was your childhood filled with drugs, violence, and corruption?

I lived on the Island of Kauai, and to say that I am fricking sensitive about someone offending me is stupid. I foughr my way through drugs, terrible public schools where the teachers are afraid to even come to school, I fought my way off that stupid a** island. If you think I am overly sensitive then screw you. I know I am strong, strong in the mind and strong willed. The truth is, the world is a much darker place than many people care to think about. If I were fighting for survival, I probably would steal. I have never been in that situation before, but I probably would. I've been blessed enough not to have to go through anything too bad. I'm no fat, happy, lazy American fo sho, but I have a good life.

I wouldn't steal or con people, no. There's no reason to. It's always possible to get a job. Will it be the best job, that will give me a house with the white picket fence, eating steak and/or lobster every night for dinner? No, but that's beyond the point. I'd work at Timmies for minimum wage, because they're always hiring. I'd room with a friend to help reduce living costs (don't have a friend? Then make one). I'd make use of the various social agencies available to help find a job, if I wasn't in a position to get one at the moment. I'd make use of welfare until I found a job.
Beyond everything else, I wouldn't dilute myself into thinking there was no other way but to cheat and steal. I realize there are some people who think this way (dealing drugs is far from a "first choice" job choice, much like begging is far from the ideal life--at least, according to those I've spoken to about the subject), but I am aware of the available resources, effectively preventing myself from falling into that line of thinking. And that's ignoring the extensive network of individuals that would help me out (family, friends, etc) were I ever to find myself in that situation.

I think morally yeah stealing is wrong, but if its that or starve to death then its a no-brainer. That is basically saying "Which is more wrong; stealing or suicide?".
